Garden Scene

Hi, it's Jenny here today!

I'm sharing a card I made using some of the Poppystamps dies from the January release.  There are a ton of NEW products in the Classy Cards 'n Such shop, including some gorgeous dies from the new April Poppystamps and Memory Box releases.  Visit again next Saturday and you'll hopefully see some on my new card.

I started this card by cutting two circles using a Spellbinders circle set.  One was cut with white card stock and a window was cut out of a blue mat that is slightly smaller than an A2 card.

I then sponged Antique Linen, Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn distress ink around the edges using a Mini Ink Blending tool.  I filled in the bottom using grass from the Impression Obsession Grass Border die.

The Poppystamps Garden Step Ladder and Garden Pots and Buckets were also colored with distress ink.  Joy! Foam pads were used between the legs of the ladder and behind the pots for added dimension.

The birdhouse was cut from the Impression Obsession Birdhouse set.  I colored the main part with Tumbled Glass distress ink and cut the roof twice so I could add a bit of dimension by gluing a red roof on top of a blue one.  The little bird was cut from the Impression Obsession Small Birds set.

Many pieces were glued using the Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive, which also has a metal tip available for mini dotting or even writing words and then covering them with glitters and other things. This stuff works great and dries clear.

The "Hello" is from a die in the Impression Obsession Greeting Set.  I sponged Festive Berries Distress Ink on a piece of white card stock before cutting out the word.

Thanks for visiting today!
